Where's That Then? No 31

It really hasn't changed that much. The photograph was taken before the war, on a hot summer's day. But there's a cooling stream running along in the dip, and Tony Richardson used it for the opening scenes of his Tom Jones follow-up, the rarely seen Joseph Andrews, (1977), another Fielding classic.

    by the way - may have mentioned this before - in late february '83 i left a very good pair of Trickers Veldtschoen beside the little foot bridge. Changing shoes after a site survey, i failed to pop them in the trunk and merrily drove back to Diploville without them. Fortunately i have another pair

    How odd. I found a pair of Trickers by the foot bridge the last time I was there. But mine were orange leather commandos.
