I don't know much about Rockingham, but the name reminds me of the porcelain manufacturer and of a story about Noël Coward. Coward was sitting next to dancer and director Wendy Toye at a rehearsal and they were watching a scene in which a young dancer had forgotten to wear anything under his form-clinging costume. Coward turned to Toye: "Will somebody please tell that young man to remove the Rockingham tea service from his tights," he said.
